I’m sorry I didn’t do well, Evo. I prepared, but had a shitty week leading up to Ignite. No excuse – I’m disappointed in myself, others were disappointed in me. Despite taking the whole day off to practice and prepare (in addition to the time I spent on it during the preceding weeks) I wasn’t “all there” mentally. I feel bad for letting people down, and from your tone, perhaps even disgracing Ignite.

Brian, don’t take too much to heart the snarky comments made by a professional speaker. Evo’s standards are a little high considering Ignite is designed for the average person’s passionate presentation, not for professionals.
I felt bad for you cuz I know how hard it was to get up there. You stumbled, but you didn’t give up and you found your place. People weren’t disappointed IN you, they were disappointed FOR you.
