Detailed Show Notes
- The crew more or less reaches consensus on the 2 hour opening of Heroes season 3. The verdict? It sucked. But there’s a silver lining! We’ll have something to bitch about for the next 13 weeks. Unless it gets canceled early.
Sheila has a job. And that means she has windshield time. Which ultimately means that she finally has plenty of time to listen to podcasts. She’s looking for recommendations. Put ‘em in the comments.
Evo deftly moves a conversation away from Sybil over to Smokey & The Bandit. MUCH better. And then it went into Burt Reynolds‘ career and how the relative amount of “sex” exuded by the man changed over time.
There’s a quick bit where Evo give you all an update on getting the show a voicemail line. Then he and Sheila give you the skinny about what your friends REALLY mean when they ask you to help them move.
We with Debbie conflicted over what she can and can’t say on Live Journal, for fear of damaging delicate egos. Evo is puzzled. Here’s a tip: don’t get offended when you read someone’s LJ account. Better tip: stop reading Live Journal accounts.

And on another note, I think I left a voicemail at some point in the last few weeks, if I’m not confusing with with another podcast. So, I kind of worried/wondered if that was the cause for the “It’s unfortunate you took it that way. Now, shut the fuck up.” Mostly because I’m pretty sure that’s Evo’s reaction to just about any comment I might have, even though he’s not as much as an asshole in person as he is on a podcast.

If you don’t set out to hurt anyone, that’s about all anyone can ask for. I used to worry about people finding out who I am, then I just decided life’s too short. If I’m not the person you were looking for, look elsewhere. Now my motto is, Get on board, or get out.
This might end up problematic as an Atheist interacting with my wife’s very catholic family, then again it hasn’t bothered them for the last 20 years of not knowing. HA!
Evo and Sheila, I’m not planning on it any time soon (well, ever really) but how much do you charge to manage a move? I’ll probably die and rot in my current house out of laziness, but if I ever have to move I want some quality people on the job.

I agree about The Mentalist. Pretty solid so far. I also like Life. Heroes has fallen off my watch list, as has Chuck.
